Step one: damp skin, always
Oil seals; it doesn't hydrate. Applied to dry skin it sits on the surface with nothing to lock in — that's the grease you remember. Applied within a couple of minutes of showering, it traps the water already on your skin and pulls in with it. This one change does more than everything else combined.
Step two: less than you think
Two pumps for your whole lower body. One more for arms and chest. Oil spreads much further than lotion because there's no water padding the volume — a bottle used correctly lasts months. If your skin looks wet ten minutes after applying, you used at least double what you needed.
Step three: press, don't rub
Warm the oil between your palms for a beat, then press it on in long strokes — neck to ankle, with extra attention to elbows and knees. Rubbing pushes product around the surface until it pills; pressing moves it into the skin. This is the heart of the ritual: warm, press, glow.
Timing by formula
Absorption depends on the base you chose. Our Bare formula disappears in under a minute — built for mornings and post-workout. Golden takes about ninety seconds. Midnight, the richest, wants two to four minutes and is happiest as the last step of an evening. Whichever you use, the scent — Fresh, Floral, Amber, or Woody — wears closest and longest when it goes on damp, warm skin.
Four scents. Three formulas. Every skin type.
