The policy

Burnish & Bloom accepts returns for any reason within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is free. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Body oils are personal. If a formula doesn't work for your skin, we'd rather take it back than have you wear something you don't love.

How to start a return

  1. Email hello@burnishandbloom.com with your order number in the subject line.
  2. We'll reply within one business day with a prepaid return label.
  3. Pack the bottle(s) in the original box or any sturdy box. The item doesn't need to be unused. Partially used bottles are fine, since you can't fully evaluate a body oil without trying it.
  4. Drop off at any carrier location listed on the label (typically USPS).
  5. Once the return arrives at our workshop, we issue a full refund within 5 to 7 business days.

What's refunded

The full purchase price of the returned items, including any sales tax. Original shipping charges (if applicable to your order) are refunded for full-order returns; they aren't refunded if you return some but not all items.

Exchanges

If you ordered the wrong oil for your skin type, we'll exchange rather than refund. No return shipping, no exchange fee. Just email us and we'll send the right one out.

Defective or damaged items

If a bottle arrives broken, leaking, or otherwise compromised, email a photo to hello@burnishandbloom.com within 14 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement at no charge. No return required for damaged items, just the photo.

Allergic reactions

Burnish & Bloom oils are formulated with skin-safe ingredients and meet IFRA Category 4 standards for leave-on body products. If you experience an unexpected reaction, stop use, photograph the affected area if possible, and email us. We'll refund the order regardless of the return window.

Items not eligible for return

Gifts

If you received Burnish & Bloom as a gift, you're welcome to return it for store credit. Email us with the order number from the gift receipt or, if you don't have one, the email address of the person who placed the order.

Shipping & tracking

Once we issue your return label, you have 14 days to drop it off. If you need an extension, just write to us.
