Rules of the road for using the site and buying our products.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of burnishandbloom.com (the "Site") and the purchase of products from Burnish & Bloom ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel any order, and discontinue or modify products at any time.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colors, ingredients, and descriptions accurately. The actual appearance of fragrance, finish, and bottle may vary slightly from images on the Site.
All prices are in United States dollars (USD) and exclude any applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
We accept payment methods listed at checkout. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.
If a product is mispriced due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Shipping terms are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns Policy. Both are incorporated into these Terms.
Burnish & Bloom body oils are cosmetics intended to moisturize, perfume, and improve the feel and appearance of body skin. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease, or to alter the structure or function of the body. Cosmetic products and cosmetic labels are not pre-approved by the FDA.
For external body use only. Do not use on the face, eyes, mucous membranes, or broken or irritated skin. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Patch test before full use, and stop use if irritation or another unexpected reaction occurs. If you are pregnant, nursing, under medical care, or have known allergies, ask a qualified healthcare professional whether the ingredients are appropriate for you.

All content on the Site (text, images, illustrations, logos, the "Burnish & Bloom" name and brand mark, product names, and the overall design) is the property of Burnish & Bloom or its licensors and is protected by US and international intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print Site content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use, including reproduction, redistribution, modification, or use in any commercial context, requires our prior written permission.

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content to us or via the Site, you grant Burnish & Bloom a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our business. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.
The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that the products will meet your specific expectations beyond the express descriptions provided.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Burnish & Bloom, its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or products. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations may not fully apply.
You agree to indemnify and hold Burnish & Bloom harmless from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site or products.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
